The investigation of dry ice by jiadong
This powerpoint shows the investigation of Dry Ice. It contains many interesting information about dry ice.For example, you could make a bomb with Dry Ice, as medicines, as cooling agents etc. Dry Ice is solid Carbon Dioxide and it has actually been found on several other planets, including Mars.
Reflection:
I feel that after doing this PowerPoint, I gained a lot of information about Dry ice, having not come into contact with them before. I found out their destructive force, their cooling agents, their abilities and I am very astonished with Carbon Dioxide Ice. I was watching the YouTube Videos about people putting dry ice inside a water cooler, sealing its top and after a while, the cooler was instantaneously “bomb” and break into pieces. That was quite interesting but I couldn’t obviously try it in Singapore.
I found out its many uses, compiles videos, such as dry ice forming a huge bubble, volcano eruption, and so to say, it actually gave me an insight to how dry ice works, how it forms, its dangers, etc.
I hope to do more of these kinds of projects because not only can I learn more, I could also experiment myself and do some hands on.
